The IALI declaration The establishment of the International Association of Lingerie Industry (IALI) is a significant moment in the formation of the lingerie business in Russia, when all professional companies working in this area became aware of the obvious need to join efforts in order to develop the lingerie industry market and jointly solve common problems.
Primary attention here was focused on the establishment of civilized forms of work and the prevention of unfair competition on the part of participants in the Russian and international lingerie market. The established practice of regular contacts among the Association members helped to create weighty precedents of professional self-regulation in the lingerie market.
The real political and economic benefits from the coordinated actions of market participants stipulate the need for an urgent transition to a broad-scale dialogue with all companies interested in the development of the lingerie business in Russia. As it appears, the most active participants of this process should be the Russian companies manufacturing lingerie and also leading global producers and, their representative offices working in the Russian market.
Currently, the creation of favorable financial-economic conditions for the development of the lingerie business in Russia is impossible without the active interaction with the executive and legislative authorities of the Russian Federation, without participating in the development of a legal, economic and legislative policy that would comply with the professional interests of IALI members and, in the end, with those of the entire lingerie business community. In this regard, the representation and protection of the collective interests of IALI members in governmental structures, Russian and international non-governmental organizations, becomes one of the promising lines of the Association's activity.
IALI members acknowledge their liability to consumers for providing prospective customers with complete and authentic information on rendered services and prices, and for actually providing them with high-quality services and goods. That is why the list of the Association's priorities also includes the setting up of mechanisms for interacting with consumers, Russian and international associations for protecting consumers' rights.
IALI is oriented to all-round cooperation with other non-governmental professional associations and entrepreneurial unions guided by similar principles. One of IALI’s distinguishing features remains its openness and readiness for dialogue with governmental and public organizations, lingerie market participants and mass media.

Recognizing the unconditional responsibility before consumers, partners on business and with one another, the companies entering into the International Association of Lingerie Industry (IALI), take up obligations to organize and conduct their activity in conformity with following rules of professional behavior – Code of professional conduct of IALI: 1. We will serve our customers with integrity and competence under the highest standards accepted in the Industry. 2. We will be fair in the competition matters and maintain firm business ethics principles. 3. We will carry out all kinds of activity only at presence of necessary licenses and certificates. 4. We will guarantee our customers with the highest level of quality of production and given services, a high level of preparation of the personnel. 5. We will supply our customers with complete and relevant information regarding the goods, given services and terms of their delivery. 6. We will avoid advertising actions and applications that could be interpreted as false, confusing the consumer or discrediting competitors. 7.
